About

Cardinal Aquatics is a Swim Club based at St Benedict’s College in Bedfordview. We offer swimming lessons for all ages and levels, from learn to swim to masters/triathletes. All instructors are Swim SA qualified and registered with Eastern Gauteng Aquatics.

Learn to Swim & Water Safety

We make use of a specially designed heated learn to swim pool. Jayne Shunn and Laura Staack are dedicated to teaching water safety, core aquatic skills and stroke development to all ages.

Competitive Swimming

Spoilt for choice we have a 10-lane 50m pool, a 10-lane indoor 25m pool and a fully equipped gym. Robyn Shepstone and Gerard Naus are dedicated to producing some of South Africa’s top Level 1,2,3 and National swimmers.

Masters & Triathletes

Our masters and triathletes make use of our 50m and 25m pools. Early morning and late afternoon sessions are hosted by Franz Studer.

Other Facilities

All Cardinal swimmers have access to onsite sports scientists, physio therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists.
